week 1: GOD IS ALWAYS THERE

 oh my goodness!! week one was DEFINITELY a rollercoaster of emotions!! SO MUCH TO SAY AHHH !!! 


PRIMERO - THE BEST COMPAÑERA EVER

hermana asay ( A C ) is the sweetest && funniest person EVER!! we are literally no joke the same person ! we have been having the best of times !! over the past week i’ve grown so extremely close to her and i wouldn’t have it ANY other way. me and her have started to speak not one, not two, BUT THREE LANGUAGES AT THE SAME TIME !! jajaja!! it all started when i was in a breakout room with mi compañera. nuestro maestro hopped into our room and started listening. THEN i say “cómo sé dice same?” ella replied “mismo” . BUT while i was trying to figure out how to say same i was signing same in sign language 😂 after maestro left AC goes you know sign ?? AND NOW WE SPEAK TRES IDIOMAS TO HELP US LEARN LOL!! 


DISTRITOOOO

oh man i think God knew EXACTLY what kind of people i needed to get me thru the CCM:,)) Esta gente es tan divertida e importante para mí!! best group of people i’ve met ! we can be so spiritual and supportive of each other PERO we have soooo much fun !! there’s never a time where someone ISNT laughing ! 


FUNNY

last week nuestro maestro said “know we are going to play a game. it’s called kahoot.” by the end of class we were all MUY CANSADO, however when he said kahoot NO DOUBT EVERY PERSONS FACE LIT UP WITH GOZO!!   haha playing the game was fun !! kahoot really helps my district understand and learn. soooo, we have started to make our own kahoots to play AGAINST each other and WOW IT IS INTENSE!! mi compañera y mi are competitive gamers in the kahoot world!! AC SIEMPRE OCUPA EL PRIMER LUGAR !!! everyone gets muuuuyyyyyy mad jajaja!! PERO the best part jaja is that a companionship in my distrito SIEMPRE try to beat us jajaj! i think they are scared of us lol! so yesterday we decided that we were gonna play a district game of kahoot since we had so much tiempo libre. PERO while playing our “friendly” game el elderes decided we it would be HILARIOUS to kick AC AND I OFF THE ZOOM!! we were both in the top 5 in the kahoot and then after the kicked us off we had to answer two questions blindly BECAUSE WE COULDNT SEE THE KAHOOT QUESTIONS 🥲😭  and right before i got kicked off i noticed elder owens nod at elder mower saying like okay now and i was like huh and then BAM IT HAPPENED. jajaja anyway it was a funny time and they felt bad for being competitive lol el elderes are two nice bahhaha ! but that’s okay we all joke with each other and it’s a good time!

also jajaja nuestro maestro has had to start saying “elderes elderes elderes” porque sometimes we get a little off topic jajaja like with making the PERFECT big mac from mcdonald’s???😂


SPIRITUAL!!

okay okay the best part is noticing how much GOD IS ALWAYS THERE !! no joke EVERY SINGLE DAY we have had a lesson on what i need to hear :,)) it is truly a blessing to recognize how much god plays a role in our lives ESPECIALLY as a misionera:)) one of the greatest lessons so far has been this: “ try your best, heavenly father will provide the rest “ :)) man oh man i definitely needed that. every single lesson and class es muy importante para mi. i have found so so so much gozo!! ccm is definitely amazing! i’m so grateful for it.


FINALMENTE ESPAÑOL!

holy cow. i’m so overwhelmed PERO it will be okay. i will not be perfect at spanish right away. it will take time!! and that’s okay!! spanish is muy muy muy hard, however it’s starting to get easier the more we practice. on the 4th day of the mtc they told us they wanted us to speak all spanish in everything!!!! oh boyyyy was i overwhelmed!! however it’s only like 80% spanish and 20% english which is okay! MY SPANGLISH GAME IS STRAIGHT FUEGO THOOOOO !! jajaja as you can tell! PARA the gift of tongues is muy real. i have been able to understand and comprehend what they are saying MOST of the time when they are talking. && i know that the gift of tongues is going to carry me through the mission along with the holy ghost!! 


one more thing, i promise lol. i never realized how much i would miss being outside!! it’s like quarantine part 2 lol. being locked up in my room has been so hard haha! so walks outside are now my favorite because you get SOOO SORE from sitting all day!!

 April 5, 2022 hola!!!! this week just kinda flew by and now we are half way thru the transfer....idk how that happened but it did haha!!  we had zone conference which is always soooo good!!! and right after we had interviews!!! interviews are always a blessing and help me out a lot. President said to me, "hermana, its life long discipleship that matters, not lifelong missionary discipleship." and that hit me like a brick...I have had to rely on God a lot this week with the stress and anxiety of a couple things but my mission president really helped out. so, if you all could pray for me and things to get better physically that would mean the world😇 despite the hard days and the rejection, there is so much good that comes from serving a mission. and I'm so grateful for it every day. it is going to be so hard to leave my mission and I don't want it to come earlier than planned!!! but I learned a lot from GENERAL CONFERENCE this weekend which was straight bars by the wa...

 March 22, 2022 hola a todos:)) estoy muy emocionada de que hoy es mi día de preparación porque esta semana fue tannnnnn largo pero estoy todavía viviendooooo!!! cómo se dice I get a gold star???? hahah bueno entonces, this week ah man....this week is so weird agghhhh hahah like the words that you are about to read ONLY happen here in calexico, cali....hijole  LETS GET GOING THEN NO MORE CLICKBAIT - pday was literally the most relaxed day of nothingness because we didn't get transfered haha. still was super good but heavens it was tiring.  - wednesday....we had actually no meetings that day....but our good friend Stacy Rolfe gave us a bunch of dresses that hadn't been used and we were like what ??? that's so sweet. ahhh tan happy she makes us😇 - thursday for 4 hours straight we had a total of 5 meetings or something like that it was crazy....but hey at least that won't happen again because they will actually be at their og times hahah!  March 15, 2022 hi my fav people:) this week:blur but hey that's okay. literal wildin out here:)) okay okay okay soooo  ☆I turned TWENTY????? literally someone please tell me how that happened?? bc sure as heck don't know how I got that oldddd...kinda had me scared it just came outta nowhere...now I can't use the teenager excuse...#lameeee:( but I literally had the happiest day ever:))))) I'm so grateful for all the texts and love I got from everyone!!! i just couldnt stop smiling all day it just was so good!!! and thennnnn guess what ???? :(((((( ☆i got the cold that went around the zone!!!:(((( I thought I dodged the bullet but because we were around everyone on my bday it got to me and I was big sad:( but hey I'm almost recovered!!
