Semana 7: THE WEEK OF ABSOLUTE CLUELESSNESS

First time flying went so good! Except the turbulence... no likey lol. But it was awesome!! Saying bye to hna Swanson was a little rough because you know the mission life is scary and i usually can picture what is going to happen but we were landing and getting here and it all just hit me. I have NO CLUE what the next 16&1/2 months hold in store for me. I just have to trust the lord. But we spent my entire first day cleaning and moving! HERMANA BROWN!!! SHE'S MY COMPANION AND I LOVE HER:)))) she's so funny and fun and just an angel. She's my mom now and I'm her daughter. She encourages me and yeah. It's a grand time. We didn't eat till 9:30 that night and it was just apple sauce and celery sticks laying on the floor. Hehe. SISTER GERONA CAME BY:'))))))))

My Spanish needs some practicar lol. However, hna brown is so supportive and cheers me on. Oh, so at mutual we had this meeting about what is happening Sunday. I had no clue what was happening but i heard them say something about i could give a talk and I shot that down. Then i shot the singing down. Then i was like okay I'm good. WRONGGGGGG. You know what they assigned me to do my first Sunday????? IN A SPANISH WARD MIND YOU?! give the opening prayer. IN SPANISH!!! Talk about heart attacks all around.

We had more lessons Thursday which means i met more people! So to start off

DJESLAKYA: cute little 14 year old girl but her parents are baptist and something else....sooo she loves the gospel and stuff just cant do anytbing because her parents wont let her:((

GIANFRANCO: he lives here, florida, y puerto Rico??? I think ??? But we cant understand him because of wifi, his sound, and other stuff so its a little rough. He has great questions tho !!! Hopefully get him on date for baptism soon :)))

GUADALUPE Y STEVE: need our prayers. BACKSTORY-> Guadalupe has a son named ryon. Ryon was being taugh by my comp but then GUADALUPE didnt like the fact that he wanted to get baptized so they started teaching her. And so she takes down TONSSS of notes and stuff and is doing good!! Steve, he has a testimony i can tell, perooooooo he has an addiction issue. So thats the rough part.... alsooo steve is the boyfriend or husband of guadalupe.....not sure on what tho. He speaks english and no spanish and she speaks spanish and little english...🤷‍♀️ potluck night with the elders in our plaza and mannn that was weird. You hear the stories but yikes are they real lol.

First district council and i was LOSTTTT! My ZL is Elder Agüero from CH so thats lit. We wnt to Walmart to finally by me some stuff and met a man named Bendito??? Yo no sé. Cool man lol. Met our neighbors to! They are so sweet. Met more members the Garcia y they have us persimens???? But look at those seeds. TENDER MERCY IS I UNDERSTOOD ALMOST EVERYTHING WE TALKED ABOUT WITH THEM!!!!

I cried saturday. First time actually here to cry which was surprising. I just everything caught up and i lost it. Not exactly but yeah. Spanish is no fácil. Not even close. But it's okay, I'll get it eventually. CRUMBLLLLLLLLL!!! Met more ward members and this family had 5 Dogs!!!!! Loved that.

Sunday.... my dreaded day. JK! But i was very scared. Saying the opening prayer was not fun. But i did it... simple and sweet yikes. I understood like little to nothing besides what the elders talked about in their talks hahaha. Fed the squirrels, and yeah. Went to meet the sweet old man and I'm honored to be the 219 missionary to go up on his wall:) this man is a trooper and has run when he started at age 50 !!! Wowzaaaaa he be talented.

Mondayyyyy first pday eve and much sadness i couldnt talk with my homies, pero esta bien theres a rhyme and a reason for everhtbing. We did chalk art today and did some finding then spent 3 HOURS at a members house and ended up missing another lesson because once you get people talking, thwy dont stop. I learned thag quite fast. We also made cookies today....I wouldnt call them cookies tho...more like a sad disgrace. Elders pranked us and gave us a heart attack .... no fun either.

Today i get to try a cali burrito so wahoooooo !!!
