semana 19: baptisms, miracles, y masks

BUENO :)) this week, first week of the transfer, was SO GOOD AHHHHH!!! literally so amazing. Just like the title said we had not only 1 baptism, BUT 2?!?! and we had MULTIPLE miracles, and we have to wear masks again literally everywhere hahaha :(( BUT that's fine!


HIGHLIGHTS:
-TRANSFERS: hehe!! new comp:)) her name is sister skousen and I LOVE HER! She literally is a ball of love and is so spiritual and REAL! Me and hna Smith are still together so it's a trio too! On transfer day I got to meet someone that I've been waiting to meet for SO long, and I got to see my girls again♡
BAUTISMOSSSSS:
okay okay yall crazy story up ahead. So, yall know how CHEZADE was goi.g to be the only one getting baptized on Saturday?? Well, her sister, MAYA, after a crazy hour of baptism interviews for chezade and us talking to Maya about baptism again(we were planning on setting a date for September because she told us the day before she wasn't ready yk) and then hna skousen with her FIRE testimony, Maya felt the spirit SO STRONG AND HER SMILE WAS SO BIG, that she said words that I was not expecting after we asked her "would you like to set a date for September?" And she responded "no.....I wanna get baptized on Saturday " RIFHT THEN AND THERE MY EYES STARTED FILLING WITH TEARS LJKE THE ARE RNRN HAHA. man if you guys knew her this is BIG like so so big. She is one spitfire of sassy emotion and she oh my gosh I don't even know how to describe it but I was so proud of her when she said that. So I frantically called the DL back to give another interview and then it got WILLDDDDD from there. That rest of the night was chaotic full of baptism stuff and so was Friday and oh man Satan is real and he sucksssssss. HOWEVER, trusting in God is a HUGE thing needed :,)) and everything will work out!! Satan was working ao hard but we were working even harder and I just love how we have the power of God with us to like assure us of things. Another cool story about it, we walked back to the bathroom right before the baptism to give them a hug and Chezade was bawling. Why? Because Satan was working at her so hard. It was insane. She was so scared she was gonna drown and I was like hey everything will be okay you're about to make the best decision of your life! And I said do you wanna pray? And she wanted hna Smith to and then after that you could just see her calm down and have peace. We had Maya go first so she could watch and I literally was grinning from ear to ear. It was such a wild day but I'm beyond grateful for these girls and all they have done :,))
MIRACLES: well that hahah ^ but we met SO MANY people and we are about to add a ton of people. And every single person we have met have been prepared for us like it's insane. We met a girl named Liz Saturday night, and she was quoting scriptures and all that from the book of mormon and she was like I feel like I know you guys. I feel like there's something missing. We invited her to come watch me talk the next day and holy cow she loved church. She loved my talk she loved the people the environment the everything. A member came up and asked if she was a member and she said straight up "oh i will be very soon" and I heard that and my heart skipped a beat. AHHHHH. Like she downloaded the gospel library app and everything and started reading and yeah! She's a golden girl and our new friend Arturo did too!! He didn't come to church but he started reading. And so many other people we met and I'm just so excited! 
MASKS: church & inside houses & tight spaces :(

SPIRITUAL: my mission presidents wife said that she does personal study like reading general conference talks on the topic of the book of mormon. And let me tell you it's so cool! And ahhh so amazing like you're reading so much about the book of mormon and its history and all! Soo if you want something cool to study, do that!!

 April 5, 2022 hola!!!! this week just kinda flew by and now we are half way thru the transfer....idk how that happened but it did haha!!  we had zone conference which is always soooo good!!! and right after we had interviews!!! interviews are always a blessing and help me out a lot. President said to me, "hermana, its life long discipleship that matters, not lifelong missionary discipleship." and that hit me like a brick...I have had to rely on God a lot this week with the stress and anxiety of a couple things but my mission president really helped out. so, if you all could pray for me and things to get better physically that would mean the world😇 despite the hard days and the rejection, there is so much good that comes from serving a mission. and I'm so grateful for it every day. it is going to be so hard to leave my mission and I don't want it to come earlier than planned!!! but I learned a lot from GENERAL CONFERENCE this weekend which was straight bars by the wa...

 March 22, 2022 hola a todos:)) estoy muy emocionada de que hoy es mi día de preparación porque esta semana fue tannnnnn largo pero estoy todavía viviendooooo!!! cómo se dice I get a gold star???? hahah bueno entonces, this week ah man....this week is so weird agghhhh hahah like the words that you are about to read ONLY happen here in calexico, cali....hijole  LETS GET GOING THEN NO MORE CLICKBAIT - pday was literally the most relaxed day of nothingness because we didn't get transfered haha. still was super good but heavens it was tiring.  - wednesday....we had actually no meetings that day....but our good friend Stacy Rolfe gave us a bunch of dresses that hadn't been used and we were like what ??? that's so sweet. ahhh tan happy she makes us😇 - thursday for 4 hours straight we had a total of 5 meetings or something like that it was crazy....but hey at least that won't happen again because they will actually be at their og times hahah!  March 15, 2022 hi my fav people:) this week:blur but hey that's okay. literal wildin out here:)) okay okay okay soooo  ☆I turned TWENTY????? literally someone please tell me how that happened?? bc sure as heck don't know how I got that oldddd...kinda had me scared it just came outta nowhere...now I can't use the teenager excuse...#lameeee:( but I literally had the happiest day ever:))))) I'm so grateful for all the texts and love I got from everyone!!! i just couldnt stop smiling all day it just was so good!!! and thennnnn guess what ???? :(((((( ☆i got the cold that went around the zone!!!:(((( I thought I dodged the bullet but because we were around everyone on my bday it got to me and I was big sad:( but hey I'm almost recovered!!
