semana 25: general conference

 hello ángeles 😇


i hope your week was so fantastic!!

this week was kinda weird it's only felt like 3 days but new transfers always feel like that hahaha. let's start it off with introductions!!

MY ANGELSSSSS
worthington: heavens she's a trooper. AND WE HAVE LIKE THE SAME LIFE I SWEAR!! she's so funny, kind, caring, thoughtful, and just oh my I love her. There are so many amazing qualities that I can't express how amazing she is. She is so good at spanish even though she thinks she's not, she literally knows when I'm not having a good day even when I don't show I'm struggling and just hugs me and makes me cry. She's so amazing and I've been beyond blessed. We literally stayed up till almost 1 our first night together telling each other stories and crying together. God literally places people who he knows you will need in your life to get thru things. 
tello: pronounced teyo not telo. HAHA I love her. She's so amazing and fluent in Spanish so our Spanish is going to fly thru the roof this transfer I'm so excited. She's so caring, funny, chaotic, and loving. She's literally our foundation and she is helping us even tho she's struggling as well. It's amazing how God does it. She's our fun sized companion as she would say haha!! Ive been blessed with literal  angels and im so excited for the next 6 weeks!!!

highlights:))))
-transfer day we got cali burritos hahah! We went to a ward members house and made pumpkins like hand sewn and all 😎 that was fun ill attach a picture!
-we had English class and activities in the church and it happened to be karaoke night heheheh. Soooo obvi us missionaries had to sing a song, and that was remember me ill try and attach the video if I can hahha. It was such a good time I haven't laughed that hard in a minute. it was needed :,))
- weekly planning day was actually fun today hahahah! We went and got blaze pizza before and turns out we have a yogurt land right next to us. I didnt think that existed here. I'm in trouble lol
- district council was so weird because I've been with my people for 2 transfers and then bam new people. So that was hard but it's going to be good. Also we played never have I ever and that was Hilarious. Then we had an English class with the Barrera family! Cutest family ever! Then oh my Lourdes is 89 and still going. She lives the church. We put her on date then she took herself off. Lol. But that's okay she's an angel lol so so so funny 
-saturday sessions of conference were straight fire there was so much goodness. We couldn't watch it with Lourdes so we went to the church to watch it. Then we cried then went to visit layka!! I get to teach her again !!! Then we went to a members house, and there apartment is WAYYY TOO NICE oh my. We goofed in the parking lot then went upstairs to watch the conference session. Then she left ti get her hubby from the airport and so we just chilling watching conference in a sick apartment that was fun!! Then we ate dinner with them and watched a missionary story video and all of us were bawling haha. They are the sweetest people ever. Then,  the most embarrassing part, I asked them what their callings were....he is our ward mission leader. That was a slap in the face hahahahha I was so embarrassed lol. Then we left to go watch the last session with the elders at the church and ate a bunch of snacks. I bawled my eyes out during Brent Nielsen talk, and when he finished hna Worthington put her arms around me and was like hugging me and all the elders were like ahhh we don't know what to do and then it like hit them why I was crying and so they ran to the bathroom to grab toilet paper because we didn't have tissues lololol. They were so sweet about it. Then we continued watching and cried some more, then I ran to grab more for my comp and came back and my ear hurt. Then I touched it and it was BLEEDING hahaha. My ear had ripped a little ill attach a picture. Rip my ear tho lol. Then we all got blessings :,)) 
Sunday session was even straight fire as well. Cried more again ahaha. Watched conference at the church with the ward except in English. Then had a potluck with them. Then watched the next one with the elders again on our nice projector haha. We were all betting how many temples we were gonna get and none of us were close lolol. Conference was literally so amazing and we were so so so sad it was done. It came and was gone. I just loved how it was so focused on love, gospel of Jesus christ, and trust. Literally what I needed to hear. Then we went to the beach lake and had the NICEST sunset oh my It was gorgeous. Then we had a good laughing session again!! 
Monday oh my haha we cried a lot today but that's okay I got to see my family at the mission office and I got to eat yogurtland people!!! Didn't know it existed. Thennnn we also did personal study at the temple like straight fire!! And had dinner with the mendozas otra vez!! This time I didn't embarrass myself lol. And there was a GIANTTT thunder storm and it made every piece of my heart so happy. 

anywayyy it's been a long time since I've written an essay of an email but I liked it so be ready for this to come lol

 April 5, 2022 hola!!!! this week just kinda flew by and now we are half way thru the transfer....idk how that happened but it did haha!!  we had zone conference which is always soooo good!!! and right after we had interviews!!! interviews are always a blessing and help me out a lot. President said to me, "hermana, its life long discipleship that matters, not lifelong missionary discipleship." and that hit me like a brick...I have had to rely on God a lot this week with the stress and anxiety of a couple things but my mission president really helped out. so, if you all could pray for me and things to get better physically that would mean the world😇 despite the hard days and the rejection, there is so much good that comes from serving a mission. and I'm so grateful for it every day. it is going to be so hard to leave my mission and I don't want it to come earlier than planned!!! but I learned a lot from GENERAL CONFERENCE this weekend which was straight bars by the wa...

 March 22, 2022 hola a todos:)) estoy muy emocionada de que hoy es mi día de preparación porque esta semana fue tannnnnn largo pero estoy todavía viviendooooo!!! cómo se dice I get a gold star???? hahah bueno entonces, this week ah man....this week is so weird agghhhh hahah like the words that you are about to read ONLY happen here in calexico, cali....hijole  LETS GET GOING THEN NO MORE CLICKBAIT - pday was literally the most relaxed day of nothingness because we didn't get transfered haha. still was super good but heavens it was tiring.  - wednesday....we had actually no meetings that day....but our good friend Stacy Rolfe gave us a bunch of dresses that hadn't been used and we were like what ??? that's so sweet. ahhh tan happy she makes us😇 - thursday for 4 hours straight we had a total of 5 meetings or something like that it was crazy....but hey at least that won't happen again because they will actually be at their og times hahah!  March 15, 2022 hi my fav people:) this week:blur but hey that's okay. literal wildin out here:)) okay okay okay soooo  ☆I turned TWENTY????? literally someone please tell me how that happened?? bc sure as heck don't know how I got that oldddd...kinda had me scared it just came outta nowhere...now I can't use the teenager excuse...#lameeee:( but I literally had the happiest day ever:))))) I'm so grateful for all the texts and love I got from everyone!!! i just couldnt stop smiling all day it just was so good!!! and thennnnn guess what ???? :(((((( ☆i got the cold that went around the zone!!!:(((( I thought I dodged the bullet but because we were around everyone on my bday it got to me and I was big sad:( but hey I'm almost recovered!!
