semana 30: cockroach queens

hola a todos!! 


this weekend was very very veryyyy slow. like literally so slow. I've never had a more slow week in my life!! ugh what a nightmare hahah jk it wasn't that bad but it was pretty bad lol

English work is sooooo different. Like basically I should be able to speak English because yk I'm pretty fluent in it right??? Welll that's what I thought....until the only way I was thinking was in spanish...sooo I mean that's a plus but also a let down hahah!! 

we have some pretty interesting people we are teaching and also I our ward hahah...that will come later lol. 

this week I mettttt:
THE JOHNSON FAMILY!! they are members and they are soooo sweet. It's just a husband and wife since their kids are all grown up but man I love them. They are so so cute. Definitely learned a lot from them about trusting and trials. 
Charles: a less active!! He is trying to quit an addiction right now, which is sad, but also very encouraging!! He reads and listens to the BOM like a champ and is getting his roommates interested in the gospel!!
Sister angle: she's an older lady who has 3 cats and is moving across the country for who knows what reason with her non member husband. Shes sweet but kept saying this phrase over and over again that I'll mention in a minute hahaha. 
THE HOHNSTEINS: this is a member family! They are sooooo sweet also!! She works at the border and her brother works in the army. They have such cool and sad stories. Her husband is in the bishopric, her parents are a sure spanish couple who go to the English ward next to us. And they have 4 kids I think... anyway they are such a nice family and she is sooo talkative!! She's got energy and her husband cracks jokes like crazy ahah! They are a funny couple. 
George and Laura: George is a member and Laura is not. They have been engaged for 4 years and in their 60s. They are the cutest people ever and their love and sympathy and everything was just so insane and that's what I want one day. Ahhh it was just like the scene from UP:,) they both have lost a lot of family lately, so it was good to just let them talk and feel emotions. 
Heather, Michael, and paige: Heather is a member, and Michael is her boyfriend and Paige is his daughter. They are so cute and ready to learn!! They all had their books and notes out. This lesson was a special one for sure:)

SPIRITUAL: George y Laura and Heather y Michael y Paiges lessons were super spiritual. Ngl I was not the happiest to leave spanish work, but I know it's only for a short time. However, these lessons made me love it. I was able to be in tune with the spirit so strongly and say and do the right needed things. I shared touching scriptures, played them spiritual songs, and helped them learn. And their faces and emotions said it all. It was just so powerful and amazing and I loved it.

We had a ward party and that was awko taco sauce hahaha and then we had the primary program and that was cute. 

Living in a 4 man has been saving my life hahaha :,)) but yeah thats how Im doing haha!!

Also, we sent a huge pile of letters home, WASNT MY IDEA EITHER, but my family got them on Sunday and let's just say there wasn't just tears shed at home, but here in san diego as well. Seriously so grateful for my entire mission and all the people I've met. I love them all soooo much.

 April 5, 2022 hola!!!! this week just kinda flew by and now we are half way thru the transfer....idk how that happened but it did haha!!  we had zone conference which is always soooo good!!! and right after we had interviews!!! interviews are always a blessing and help me out a lot. President said to me, "hermana, its life long discipleship that matters, not lifelong missionary discipleship." and that hit me like a brick...I have had to rely on God a lot this week with the stress and anxiety of a couple things but my mission president really helped out. so, if you all could pray for me and things to get better physically that would mean the world😇 despite the hard days and the rejection, there is so much good that comes from serving a mission. and I'm so grateful for it every day. it is going to be so hard to leave my mission and I don't want it to come earlier than planned!!! but I learned a lot from GENERAL CONFERENCE this weekend which was straight bars by the wa...

 March 22, 2022 hola a todos:)) estoy muy emocionada de que hoy es mi día de preparación porque esta semana fue tannnnnn largo pero estoy todavía viviendooooo!!! cómo se dice I get a gold star???? hahah bueno entonces, this week ah man....this week is so weird agghhhh hahah like the words that you are about to read ONLY happen here in calexico, cali....hijole  LETS GET GOING THEN NO MORE CLICKBAIT - pday was literally the most relaxed day of nothingness because we didn't get transfered haha. still was super good but heavens it was tiring.  - wednesday....we had actually no meetings that day....but our good friend Stacy Rolfe gave us a bunch of dresses that hadn't been used and we were like what ??? that's so sweet. ahhh tan happy she makes us😇 - thursday for 4 hours straight we had a total of 5 meetings or something like that it was crazy....but hey at least that won't happen again because they will actually be at their og times hahah!  March 15, 2022 hi my fav people:) this week:blur but hey that's okay. literal wildin out here:)) okay okay okay soooo  ☆I turned TWENTY????? literally someone please tell me how that happened?? bc sure as heck don't know how I got that oldddd...kinda had me scared it just came outta nowhere...now I can't use the teenager excuse...#lameeee:( but I literally had the happiest day ever:))))) I'm so grateful for all the texts and love I got from everyone!!! i just couldnt stop smiling all day it just was so good!!! and thennnnn guess what ???? :(((((( ☆i got the cold that went around the zone!!!:(((( I thought I dodged the bullet but because we were around everyone on my bday it got to me and I was big sad:( but hey I'm almost recovered!!
