semana 35: f.i.n.e.

feelings. im. not. expressing. Lol I told an elder I was doing fine the other day while my comps were In a big meeting and me and my temp comps and his temp comp were all sitting there talking and I go "yeah im good im fine" and he goes "yeah im saying the same...but its meaning feelings im not expressing bc I have many of those rn" and I was just like dang me too ahahahaha we all had a triste moment lol #outcasts lol. We are the mission office missionaries now !! hahah jk not really but basically true.

HOLA A TODOS 

This week has been 5eva long. And I feel like the most useless missionaries ever hahaha. My comps are stls and SMS and I'm just a Jr companion...but I do the cooking and cleaning so I guess it is something. Hahah! God has a plan so I'm just trusting him right now. He knows what's up. 

So yeah I'm 5 minutes from the border and it's colder than I thought it would be in Calexico. Like 56-66° as the high...so that's kinda sad hahha! But at least there ain't snow. There is a really annoying train that passes by at like 5 am and blows its horn like non other. It's a great early wake up callllll!

I'm back with my best friends elder Cook and elder jones!! We ended up in the valley altogether and im SO HAPPYYY. 

It has been a roller coaster of a week. We are teaching SO many people...like it's insane and very hard to keep track but we are having SO many lessons a day and a ton of help from God!! Blessings from above. 

Our "ward" is soooo tiny it shouldn't be a ward....or a branch...more like a group hahaha! But they are some amazing people by far. Also it's literally whatever language you want to speak at church. Soooo most speak Spanish and some speak English and it's just whack. 

We have traveled to San Diego 2 times this week and this time we are staying here for 3 days because of my comps having meetings then our big Christmas one!! But I've driven a total of 6 hours because of it and it's exhausting 🥴 im vibing tho. I just cook, clean, drive, and do whatever else my comps tell me to do basically. 

I love my companions they are so sweet! We do a lot of laughing so it's good. 

It's Christmas week and I'm so excited!! Thanks everyone who has sent me letters it means a bunch!! We have lots of fun exciting plans and it'll be so good.. everyone should go follow the "come unto Christ in the imperial valley" page on facebook and watch our live Christmas eve!! one thing before I sign off, remember the reason for the season. Remember Christmas is because of Christ. 

Okay I lied one more thing...LOOK. despite everything I'm going thru rn, I LOVE IT HERE. I LOVE CALEXICO AND I LOVE LITERALLY ALL THE PEOPLE IN MY ZONE AND MY "WARD". Driving back from San diego on Tuesday I was so happy I was grinning from ear to ear because I had been DREAMING of this day. And I'm still grinning from ear to ear!!! I feel so grateful to be here!!

 April 5, 2022 hola!!!! this week just kinda flew by and now we are half way thru the transfer....idk how that happened but it did haha!!  we had zone conference which is always soooo good!!! and right after we had interviews!!! interviews are always a blessing and help me out a lot. President said to me, "hermana, its life long discipleship that matters, not lifelong missionary discipleship." and that hit me like a brick...I have had to rely on God a lot this week with the stress and anxiety of a couple things but my mission president really helped out. so, if you all could pray for me and things to get better physically that would mean the world😇 despite the hard days and the rejection, there is so much good that comes from serving a mission. and I'm so grateful for it every day. it is going to be so hard to leave my mission and I don't want it to come earlier than planned!!! but I learned a lot from GENERAL CONFERENCE this weekend which was straight bars by the wa...

 March 22, 2022 hola a todos:)) estoy muy emocionada de que hoy es mi día de preparación porque esta semana fue tannnnnn largo pero estoy todavía viviendooooo!!! cómo se dice I get a gold star???? hahah bueno entonces, this week ah man....this week is so weird agghhhh hahah like the words that you are about to read ONLY happen here in calexico, cali....hijole  LETS GET GOING THEN NO MORE CLICKBAIT - pday was literally the most relaxed day of nothingness because we didn't get transfered haha. still was super good but heavens it was tiring.  - wednesday....we had actually no meetings that day....but our good friend Stacy Rolfe gave us a bunch of dresses that hadn't been used and we were like what ??? that's so sweet. ahhh tan happy she makes us😇 - thursday for 4 hours straight we had a total of 5 meetings or something like that it was crazy....but hey at least that won't happen again because they will actually be at their og times hahah!  March 15, 2022 hi my fav people:) this week:blur but hey that's okay. literal wildin out here:)) okay okay okay soooo  ☆I turned TWENTY????? literally someone please tell me how that happened?? bc sure as heck don't know how I got that oldddd...kinda had me scared it just came outta nowhere...now I can't use the teenager excuse...#lameeee:( but I literally had the happiest day ever:))))) I'm so grateful for all the texts and love I got from everyone!!! i just couldnt stop smiling all day it just was so good!!! and thennnnn guess what ???? :(((((( ☆i got the cold that went around the zone!!!:(((( I thought I dodged the bullet but because we were around everyone on my bday it got to me and I was big sad:( but hey I'm almost recovered!!
