merry late christmas and happy early new year :))) I hope you guys enjoyed it!! it definitely was really different here on the mission...we made treats to bring to a lot of our friends and stuff!! because it was a normal work day , we were grinding the studies and then sending tons of texts for Christmas and what not. It was hard tho because every.single.person.was.gone🙃 which is the hard thing about being RIGHT next to mexicali...but it's okay.

so Christmas high key didn't even feel like Christmas. And it definitely wasnt what I was expecting at all.. I had heard stories of missionaries having the best Christmas ever being here and honestly making treats and dropping them off to people was a frickin good highlight...it just wasn't the same but we did our best to make it enjoyable for us😌

Christmas eve we did zone council in person cause we are a teeeeny zone. And we decorated cookies and ate sooo many treats. Later that night we did a live for the come unto christ in the imperial valley page...man if you want a laugh go to the last 5 minutes of the video🤣 it's okay we literally watch it on repeat now laughing about it...but hey we will redeem ourselves soon we promise. But it was good to be celebrating with them even tho todavía didn't feel like anything different haha. A member did drop us off food tho before she left so that was sweet :,)) it definitely was a highlight of our life because we thought it wasn't gonna happen...BUT we did get Chinese food Christmas eve because of the Christmas story hahahah!

We had a mission devo on Wednesday and it was super spiritual and soooo good to see so many people. Half of us went to the devo that day and then the other half went the next day. Miss my peeps, especially my better half but she's thriving. She got me the cutest gift and just seeing it makes me smile EVERYDAY when it's hard ill look up from writing and it's just there and it just is so good :,)) BUT I LOVE BEING HERE IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHEREEEEE ehehe it's so much fun a whole new world for sure.

There were only 17 people at church on sunday...and yes...that includes us in the 17...

This area has sooo much work to do and we are trying to figure out how to best handle it all. When you're teaching 40+ different people it's kinda chaotic🥴

Okay okay so the last 2 weeks, my family had been receiving the 12 days of Christmas. And then last week it was so so so amazing to see the other things they were getting on top of it all. My heart was so beyond touched and literally I cried a lot. I'm grateful for the angels who hear and listen to prayers and who serve and share their christ like love. I want to be like them one day. Because it was definitely something I know i won't forget. Being here on a mission is rough stuff currently but just seing the love and support they are getting is just jaw dropping. I know God is real and he is so good. If you had a part in anything that happened, thank you. I hope one day to be like you.

All in all, you never know what people are going thru, it's it's little things that make a big difference in people's lives and I know it is true.

You're gonna have hard times, you're gonna have trials, troubles, and afflictions. Keep going. God is refining you in the fire. He's shaping you into who you need to become.

love yall, have a good week!!
